    This depends on what the plans are for the area. If you're looking to put a foundation in that area, we would excavate the area. if you're looking to use a garden in that space then stump grinding works great for mulch. Give Stump Chompers LLC a call to discuss each individual situation.

  • Do you offer any guarantees or warranties for your work?

    Stump Chompers LLC stands behind all our stump grinding and removal work! If we miss something for whatever reason then we will come back and fix it at no cost to you.

  • What should I do to prepare for my service?

    If there are any cars in the driveway or blocking the stump that we need to access for stump removal then please ensure they are moved prior to our arrival. Anything of value that can easily be moved is always helpful. Please keep pets indoors or out of the area we're working in.

  • Do you CBYD?

    Stump Chompers LLC does CBYD, or call before your dig, to make sure we do not hit any utility lines during our stump removal. Also, before we start, if you have any personal utilities such as an underground fence or watering system then please let us know.

  • What about private utilities?

    Before Stump Chompers LLC starts any stump removal project, please let us know about dog fences underground, sprinklers/watering systems we know where to and not to work.

  • What happens to the grindings and mulch?

    The mulch that we create through stump grinding is great for gardens. If you're looking to grow grass back, we will remove the grindings. In some cases, the grindings can be used, but this is case by case.

  • Why should I remove the stump?

    Stump removal is necessary for several reasons including aesthetics, safety, and health. Stumps become breeding ground for pests like termites and rats, and they can invade your house, too. Stumps are also a tripping hazard.

  • My stump is in a location that's hard to get to, can you remove it?

    Stump Chompers LLC has specialized equipment allowing us to get to hard-to-access stumps! We'll be able to complete our stump grinding or removal services with no problem.
